Mobile App

Halos has a native mobile app for iOS and Android, so your agents are always in your pocket. The mobile experience mirrors the core web features with a touch-optimized interface.

Getting the App

The Halos mobile app is available on iOS. Download it from the App Store and sign in with the same account you use on the web.

Core Features

The Yard (Group Chat)

The home screen of the mobile app is The Yard — the same group chat you use on the web. Everything works the same way:

  • Auto-routing — Type a message and the right agent responds
  • @mentions — Tag specific agents or use @everyone
  • Parallel responses — Multiple agents can respond simultaneously
  • Typing indicators — See which agents are composing replies

The agent bar at the top shows your deployed agents as a scrollable row. Tap any avatar to jump to a direct chat.

Direct Chat

Tap an agent's avatar to start a one-on-one conversation. Direct chat on mobile is great for:

  • Quick tasks while you're on the go
  • Following up on something an agent flagged
  • Detailed conversations that need the agent's full attention

Voice Calls

The mobile app supports voice calls with your agents. Each agent can be assigned an ElevenLabs voice, and you can:

  • Start a voice call from the agent's chat screen
  • Speak naturally — your speech is transcribed in real time
  • Hear the agent's response in its assigned voice
  • Switch between text and voice mid-conversation

Voice calls are especially useful when you're driving, walking, or otherwise can't type.

Agent Management

From the Agents tab, you can:

  • View all your deployed agents
  • See their status, level, and stats
  • Start a chat with any agent
  • Quick-access to agent profiles

Mobile-Specific Tips

Use Voice for Quick Tasks

When you're away from your desk, voice is the fastest way to interact:

"Hey Luna, any urgent emails I should know about?"

"Sol, what's my next meeting?"

"Atlas, give me a quick summary of what happened in tech today."

Heartbeat Notifications

When an agent sends a heartbeat check-in (a proactive update), you'll get a notification on your phone. This means you can stay on top of things without actively checking:

  • Your email agent flags an urgent message
  • Your calendar agent reminds you about an upcoming meeting
  • Your research agent shares a relevant news item

Offline Access

Recent messages are cached locally, so you can review past conversations even without a connection. New messages require an internet connection.

Quick Actions

From any message, you can:

  • Copy the text
  • Share it with other apps
  • Reply directly in the thread

Camera & Image Support

The mobile app lets you use your camera or photo library to share images with your agents:

  • Take a photo of a whiteboard and ask your agent to transcribe or summarize it
  • Share a screenshot and ask for analysis
  • Send an image of a document for extraction

Web vs. Mobile

The mobile app covers the core chat and agent interaction features. For agent management tasks like training, skill installation, and deep settings configuration, the web app provides the full experience.

| Feature | Web | Mobile | |---------|-----|--------| | The Yard group chat | Yes | Yes | | Direct chat | Yes | Yes | | Voice calls | Yes | Yes | | Deploy agents | Yes | Coming soon | | Training | Yes | Coming soon | | Skills management | Yes | Coming soon | | Knowledge base | Yes | Coming soon | | Settings & integrations | Yes | Partial | | Camera/image sharing | No | Yes |

Staying in Sync

The web and mobile apps share the same backend, so everything stays in sync:

  • Messages sent on the web appear on mobile and vice versa
  • Agent status updates are reflected everywhere
  • Training data and knowledge base changes apply across both platforms
  • Heartbeat notifications go to both web and mobile
